We took the girls to the zoo several weeks back. Grace really enjoyed it. The obvious highlight was feeding the giraffes.

Destin

We enjoyed another week in BEAUTIFUL Destin, Florida a few weeks back. It was sort of a last minute trip that we went on with our incredible friends, the Kilian and Lubbers families. With an 8 week old at the time, we (mostly I) was a little unsure how traveling 1000 miles would go. Both Grace and Anna actually traveled very well and we had no major problems (except the minor delay on the way back due to some van issues.....see the Kilian blog for pics:)). We had a great time and can't wait to go back. Destin is definitely on the top of my "most favorite places to be" list. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the week........and I say a few because I think I took like 300 pictures or something crazy like that.

6 weeks....already

I just wanted to post some pics of Anna marking her 6 week birthday:) I've been trying to experiment with my camera a little more and apply all the info I learned during my photo class. It just takes time and patience.....ahhhhhh. Hope you enjoy.....isn't she cute!!:)

Anna Elise

Here are a few long overdue pics of our sweet baby girl, Anna Elise. She was born February 26, 2009 - 9lb 6oz, 21 3/4". I am enjoying my time with her and truly feel blessed to have two beautiful and healthy little ones. She's a great baby and Grace has been a wonderful "big sister".

It's been a while

I would like to aplogize to my readers for the delay in recent posts. I havn't had the urge to get on and post any new pics......I didn't even post much from Christmas. I think now that it's almost February, I'll forego backtracking and just try to stay up to speed from this point foreward. With the new baby on the way, I'm sure we'll have plenty of new pics. I've got about 3 weeks left..........yeah!! We're getting really excited to meet the new little member of our family. Grace knows by what we've told her that she is going to have a baby sister, but it will be really fun (and perhaps interesting) to watch her reaction and initial interaction with the baby. For all of you who are wondering or who've asked, we do not have a name picked out at this point. We have a few that we've thrown around, but honestly, nothing that has really stuck. So, I think it will be a surprise for all of us!!....we've even resorted to asking Grace what we should name baby sister. Unfortunately, she hasn't really given us much feedback.
